Materials

Buttercream Frosting

  • 1/2 cup unsalted room temp butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1-2 tbsp heavy cream depending on preferred consistency
  • pinch of salt
  • yellow food coloring

Extra Ingredients for Board

  • Pink strawberry wafers
  • Graham crackers
  • Marshmallow Peeps
  • Jelly Beans
  • Pink M&Ms, Mini chocolate chips, Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Place room temperature butter in a large mixing bowl and mixing on medium-high speed for 1 minute.
  • On medium speed, slowly add powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla; scrape the sides and taste for salt, then continue mixing for an additional 30 seconds on medium-high speed.
  • Add drops of yellow food coloring until reaching the desired shade.

  • Transfer the frosting to a piping bag for easier assembly.
  • To assemble the board, pipe a large oval and fill it completely, using an offset spatula to even out the frosting.
  • Line the outer edge with M&Ms and decorate with mini chocolate chips and sprinkles.
