I am a big Swiftie and so is my daughter. So when she was about to turn 7 we decided to throw a Taylor Swift inspired party.

I’ve done fancy cakes almost every year for my kids and have noticed that the more elaborate the less likely all the kids will like it.

The simpler the better – so these donuts were perfect.  A few of the boys at the party had the widest eyes when I told them they got the whole donut.  It was really fun!

I put the donuts into a large #7 from Amazon (check it out here) and it was the perfect size for donuts.  I lined it with parchment paper first to help with sticking.

This is one of the easiest desserts to make especially if you buy the donuts.  If you are a baker and want to make those from scartch then of course that works too.  I bought glazed donuts from my local grocery store and they were delicious.

To decorate them I added some honey to make it sticky.  Then added rocket candies that I had written using Edible Markers.  Finally, I finished the “bracelet” with large sprinkles.
I wrote quite a few Taylor Swift songs on the bracelets but also added my daughter’s name. Here are some ideas for the donuts:

Taylor Swift Inspired Friendship Bracelet Donuts

These Taylor Swift inspired friendship bracelet donuts are easy to put together and are super cute for any Swiftie celebration. Using store bought donuts to make it even easier.
Decorating Time 15 minutes
Course Dessert
Cuisine American
Servings 12 donuts

Ingredients

  • 12 Glazed Donuts
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • Sprinkles
  • Rocket Candy

Instructions

  • Start with one donut at a time and add a circle of honey on the top. If you have a squeeze bottle that makes it easier. My honey was crystalized so I used a toothpick
  • Write your letters on your rocket candy. You can pull out all the white ones to write with or be more colorful using all the different colors. See notes for which Edible Markers I used.
  • Finish the circle of the bracelet with sprinkles. I used two different types, Links below in notes.
